Defense Ministry presents new fiber-optic Stalker drones that "track and strike despite electronic warfare"
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has presented a line of new fiber-optic FPV drones "Stalker". Among the advantages of these new drones is the ability to track and strike enemy targets even under conditions of active enemy electronic warfare. It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense reports that these drones have already been codified and combat units are effectively using them and constantly provide the manufacturer with valuable feedback from the battlefield.
It is also noted that fiber-optic drones are resistant to electronic warfare, which allows Ukrainian defenders to effectively use them even in conditions of intensive electronic warfare suppression by the enemy.
What models are currently being produced?
Currently, the company is focused on scaling up production of the Stalker XO-10 and Stalker XO-15 models.
The XO-10 is a 10-inch drone designed to destroy equipment and personnel on the front line. It is maneuverable in flight and fast in preparation for launch, allowing for pinpoint strikes.
The Stalker XO-15 has an increased range and combat load, which allows it to effectively destroy fortified targets in the enemy's tactical depth. According to the developers, this model is capable of attacking rear control points, artillery, air defense and electronic warfare complexes.
It is also reported that tests are currently underway to increase the range of these drones to 20-25 km.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasing the use of fiber-optic drones.
Recall that earlier the manufacturer of fiber-optic drones stated that they remembered about Ukrainian fiber-optic drones when the russians began to hit our equipment with "optics".
