Russians admit that "exit" to border of Dnipropetrovsk Region was just PR campaign
Russian military blogger and propagandist Yurii Podoliaka said that servicemen of the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, really reached the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, but died for the sake of a photo with the russian flag.
Podoliaka wrote about this today, May 22, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 21, a group of servicemen of the 90th Tank Division reached the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk Region. This allegedly happened west of the settlement of Orikhove, Donetsk Region.
"Our guys really went there and took this photo. But, unfortunately, not as part of assault operations with the task of gaining a foothold, but as part of a purely PR campaign," Podoliaka wrote.
The propagandist added that while leaving the "photo shoot" the occupiers were eliminated by the Ukrainian military.
Podoliaka added that this result of the propaganda "photo shoot" was obvious.
"And I personally don't understand why they did it? Anyway, I don't understand. They just took and killed a few people for the sake of a photo," the propagandist laments.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 21, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, called the occupiers' statement about reaching the administrative border of the region a fake.
Recall, on April 30 of this year, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, is trying to advance to the border of the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
