Government announces competition for positions of independent members of Ukrzaliznytsia supervisory board

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced a competitive selection of candidates for the positions of four independent members of the supervisory board of JSC Ukrainian Railways.

This is stated in a message from the Ministry of Economy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The message states that independent members of the supervisory board should participate in the formation of strategic decisions, ensuring control over financial and operational processes and evaluating the activities of the company's management.

Specialists with a high level of professional competence in such areas as transport infrastructure, strategic management, finance, audit, legal issues, digital transformation, public administration and other related industries are invited to participate in the selection.

Candidates must meet the criteria of independence, have proven experience in management positions, higher education and impeccable business reputation.

The competitive selection is carried out with the participation of an international recruiting company.

Documents are accepted from May 19 to June 17, 2025 (06:00 pm Kyiv time).

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has resumed the competitive principles for the selection of members of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia in December 2024.

Previously, the competitive selection was suspended for the period of martial law.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 21, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Oleksandr Pertsovskyi as the chairman of the board of joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia.
