The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak said that Ukraine is ready for any format of negotiations with the aggressor country of russia. However, the first step to the start of a dialogue between the parties should be a ceasefire.
He stated this at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit 2025
Yermak noted that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed his readiness to come to Turkey for negotiations with russian dictator vladimir putin.
Later, a similar statement was made by US President Donald Trump.
"If putin refuses, this will be the final proof: russia does not want the end of this war and is not ready for any negotiations," Yermak said.
The head of the Office of the President emphasized that in the event of russia's unwillingness to negotiate, the world community must respond to this with new sanctions against Moscow and increased military assistance to Kyiv.
