Kim Jong Un inspects munitions plants, claims quadrupled production
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has inspected munitions plants that directly produce shells and equipment and announced a fourfold increase in production.
This was reported by Reuters, citing the state-run KCNA news agency.
During the inspection, Kim praised the plant for increasing shell production to "four times the average annual level" and playing "an important role in increasing the main combat power" of North Korea's armed forces.
Meanwhile, according to South Korean intelligence, the DPRK has provided russia with "missiles and shells worth billions of dollars" for its invasion of Ukraine, and has also deployed about 15,000 troops. It is indicated that this has given russia an advantage on the battlefield in the western part of the Kursk Oblast and brought the two economically and politically isolated countries closer together.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier the aggressor state of russia and North Korea began construction of a road bridge between the two countries across the Tyumen River, as part of efforts to strengthen their strategic partnership.
Meanwhile, out of a total of 15,000 people, about 600 North Korean servicemen were killed fighting on the side of russia against Ukraine. Their bodies were cremated before being sent home.
Recall that earlier russia publicly acknowledged for the first time the participation of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine. They are fighting against the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk Oblast.
North Korea also confirmed the participation of North Korean troops in hostilities against Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast of russia.
