Bodies of 909 fallen defenders return to Ukraine – Coordination Headquarters
Today, April 18, as a result of the repatriation measures, the bodies of 909 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine. This is stated in the message of the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war.
As reported, among the defenders returned "on the shield" are the fallen from:
- Kurakhove axis;
- Pokrovsk axis;
- Bakhmut axis;
- Vuhledar axis;
- Luhansk axis;
- Zaporizhzhia axis;
- Sumy axis;
- Kharkiv axis;
- from morgues on the territory of the russian federation.
"Investigators of law enforcement agencies, together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, will establish the identities of the deceased as soon as possible," the message of the Coordination Headquarters says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 28, the bodies of 909 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine as a result of repatriation measures.
