Kremlin representative, who arrived in US, accuses Ukraine of attacks on energy infrastructure
Russian financier and Kremlin representative in negotiations with the US Kirill Dmitriev said that Ukraine allegedly violated agreements to stop attacks on energy infrastructure.
He said this in an interview with Fox News.
Dmitriev criticized the previous Joe Biden administration for allegedly not making "any attempts to understand russia's position." And Trump and his team allegedly achieved "huge progress" in the negotiations.
"What President Trump's team did is they understood what the space for solutions could be, and they achieved the first-ever de-escalation in the conflict, which stopped attacks on energy infrastructure between russia and Ukraine," the Kremlin negotiator said.
When journalists commented that even after these agreements, russia was still attacking Ukrainian infrastructure, Dmitriev accused Ukraine of the same, but "not much is reported in the press about this."
As a reminder, vladimir putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev told russian journalists that Moscow was counting on "resuming dialogue" with the United States, which, according to him, was "interrupted by the Biden administration."
The day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the statements of the russian Foreign Ministry that the Ukrainian military allegedly shelled russian energy facilities.
