Fedorov shows secret drone Katran that destroys targets at sea, on land and in air

The Ukrainian military company Military Armored Company HUB has developed a high-tech drone Katran that effectively destroys sea, land and air targets.

Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported this on Facebook on Tuesday, March 25.

Fedorov said that the Katran drone has become a game changer at sea, but information about missions with it is classified.

"The drone is equipped with torpedoes, a minigun, a machine gun, MANPADS and other weapons. It calmly covers distances of more than 1,000 kilometers, performs strike and reconnaissance operations. The drone is multifunctional - it effectively destroys sea, land and air targets," the Minister said.

According to him, Katran does not require a separate electronic warfare system, as it has a built-in electronic warfare system for automatic threat recognition and trap shooting.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 17, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine had successfully tested a long-range drone of its own production, which can cover 3,000 kilometers.

The Cabinet of Ministers has set itself the task of bringing Ukrainian weapons production to at least half of the required level.

Recall that in January, Zelenskyy said that this year Ukraine wants to set a record in the number of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
