US agrees with Ukraine that war should not turn into frozen conflict — Yermak
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak stated that the positions of Ukraine and the US coincide on the issue that russia's full-scale aggression should not turn into a frozen conflict.
According to RBC-Ukraine, Yermak said this on the air of a telethon.
"We said very clearly that we will never go for a frozen conflict. We are definitely against it, and here our positions completely coincide with our American partners. They are also against a frozen conflict," the head of the Office said.
According to him, the meeting between Ukraine and the US in Saudi Arabia went well, but this is only the first step. He emphasized that a lot of work awaits Ukraine ahead.
Recall, on March 11, following the negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Ukraine declared its readiness to introduce a 30-day ceasefire.
As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later said, this is a ceasefire along the entire front line, not just at sea and in the sky, as previously discussed.
Today, March 13, russian dictator vladimir putin said that russia had allegedly agreed to a 30-day ceasefire, but almost immediately put forward conditions for Ukraine.
The dictator wants Ukraine to stop receiving weapons from its partners during the ceasefire, and also wants mobilization in the country to stop.
