Russian army attacks Sumy with Shaheds. High-rise building damaged, there are casualties
On the night of Tuesday, January 25, the russians attacked Sumy with Shahed drones, as a result of which a high-rise building was damaged and a person was injured.
Suspilne Sumy reported this, as well as acting Sumy city mayor Artem Kobzar.
The first explosion occurred at 4:08 a.m. on February 25. A few minutes later, local residents heard another explosion.
Artem Kobzar confirmed that the Shahed hit near Lake Chekh in Sumy.
"A lot of windows in the high-rise building flew out. The State Emergency Service and the police are working at the scene," Kobzar said.
He also added that one person was injured and is receiving medical care. A headquarters will be deployed in the city to eliminate the consequences of the emergency.
As of 8 a.m., the number of people injured in the russian night attack on Sumy has increased to 2, the State Emergency Service reported. 148 windows were broken out by the blast wave in three high-rise buildings and other buildings.
