North Korean soldiers again thrown on assault on AFU positions in Kursk Oblast - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that North Korean soldiers were once again returned to the front line in the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country, russia.

The head of state said this in his traditional evening video address to Ukrainians.

According to him, the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were subjected to new assaults, in particular, with the participation of North Korean soldiers.

"A significant number of occupiers have been destroyed. We are talking about hundreds of russian and North Korean soldiers," Zelenskyy said.

The President stressed the importance of the fact that combat operations are being conducted on enemy territory. This makes it possible to prevent the russians from increasing tension against Ukrainian cities.

Zelenskyy also added that a group of the russian army numbering 60,000 people is currently operating in the Kursk Axis.

"These are 60,000, which were not added to the already significant forces of the occupier in Pokrovsk and other Axes in the Donetsk Region," the President said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 31, the American publication The New York Times wrote, citing sources, that North Korean troops were withdrawn from the front lines in the Kursk Axis after heavy losses they suffered during the assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
