Minsk-3 will not happen, it is not security guarantee for Ukraine – Zelenskyy

Ukraine needs strong security guarantees, not situational agreements that russia will not adhere to.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with British host Piers Morgan.

"Ukraine needs real guarantees. NATO guarantees that Putin is unlikely to invade again. NATO also strengthens its own security thanks to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian servicemen. This is extremely important for everyone," he noted.

"Even for Russia, Ukraine's membership in NATO is a guarantee that we will not seek military revenge. Instead, we will resolve disputes diplomatically. That is why I said that NATO is a guarantee for everyone, stable and economically beneficial," the head of state added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 4, Zelenskyy called for the return of nuclear weapons to Ukraine until the country is accepted into the North Atlantic Alliance.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the return of all Ukrainian territories as of 1991 can take place not only through military means, but also through diplomatic means.
