Putin exposed as liar after saying there are more Ukrainians living in russia than in Ukraine

Russian dictator vladimir putin stated during yesterday's press conference that there are supposedly more Ukrainians living in russia than in Ukraine itself. His words are a lie and do not correspond to reality.

Agenstvo.Novosti reports this.

"It seems to me that there are already as many Ukrainians living in Russia as in Ukraine, and maybe even more <...> These are millions of people <...> We have about the same number of Ukrainians living now as there are in Ukraine," the russian dictator said.

The publication recalled that the population census, which was conducted in russia shortly before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, showed that there are 884,000 Ukrainians in the country. These are people who identified themselves as Ukrainians.

In 2023, the russians stated that 5.5 million people allegedly arrived in russia from the occupied territories of Ukraine after the start of hostilities.

At the same time, the UN refugee agency previously stated that as of December 31, 2023, 1.2 million Ukrainians were in the russian federation.

In addition, according to the russians, 3.2 million people lived in the occupied territories as of autumn 2023.

Even if we take into account the dubious and unconfirmed data of the russians, it turns out that no more than 10 million Ukrainians live in russia and the occupied territories, which is 3.5 times less than the number of Ukrainians in Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 19, dictator vladimir putin proposed to launch an experimental strike on Kyiv using the Oreshnik ballistic missile.

Putin also called the full-scale war against Ukraine, which has claimed the lives of more than 700,000 russian military personnel and led to the destruction of hundreds of settlements, an "action".
