Drone hits IAEA vehicle on way to Zaporizhzhia NPP
A drone has hit an official vehicle of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the way to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP (ZNPP), the IAEA said in a statement on X on Tuesday, December 10.
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, called the attack on the Agency's staff working to prevent a nuclear accident "unacceptable."
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 1, a water leak was detected in one of the reactors at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
On October 21, one of the two lines supplying the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP was de-energized due to russian shelling.
As we recall, on August 18, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced the deterioration of the security situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
