Ukrainian artillery hit building with North Korean soldiers - El Pais
Ukrainian artillery has already struck buildings where North Korean soldiers are believed to be stationed.
This was reported by the El Pais publication on Tuesday, October 29, with reference to a Ukrainian military serviceman, who was in the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country of russia.
The publication writes that Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said that North Korean units will be deployed in the Kursk Oblast "in the coming weeks".
"Ukrainian artillery has already hit buildings where North Korean servicemen are believed to be," an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told El Pais on October 26 during a visit to the rear of the operation in Kursk.
At the same time, none of the Ukrainian infantry units fighting in Kursk, with whom the newspaper consulted, had visual evidence that North Korean soldiers were fighting at the front. The publication also writes that sources from the 95th Ukrainian Airborne Brigade explained that half of the russian fighters in Kursk are recruits, with much less experience than Ukrainian soldiers, which allows them to gain positions more easily.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 24, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that the first North Korean soldiers had already arrived in the Kursk Oblast.
A South Korean delegation will visit Ukraine this week to share information about North Korea sending troops to russia.
On October 28, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte officially confirmed the deployment of North Korean troops in the Kursk Oblast of russia.
