18 Members of Parliament propose to the Verkhovna Rada to equalize the accrual of disability pensions for prosecutors with similar pension accruals for other citizens of Ukraine.

"My team and I have submitted a bill for registration to equalize the principle of accrual of disability pensions for employees of the prosecutor's office with other citizens of Ukraine. We also ask to send all prosecutors who have been diagnosed with a disability for re-examination," she wrote.

Co-authors of the bill are Mariana Bezuhla (non-affiliated), Halyna Tretiakova (Servant of the People), Mykola Tyshchenko (non-affiliated).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council regarding the situation with medical and social expert commissions (MSECs) and abuses of disability by officials.

After the meeting, Zelenskyy said that Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin should bear political responsibility for the situation in the prosecutor's office.
