Ukrhydroenergo to cancel tender for legal services in arbitration against russia regarding Kakhovka HEPP destruction

The Ukrhydroenergo energy generating company has decided to cancel the tender for services to provide legal representation in the international arbitration against russia regarding the compensation of the aggressor country for the damages caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

This is stated in the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the report, this decision was made in order to ensure that the company's actions are consistent with the broader national strategy of Ukraine.

"The strategy aims to hold the aggressor state accountable for damage to critical infrastructure and provide compensation for the destruction caused. In this context, additional consultations will be held with the government and other key stakeholders to determine the most appropriate course of action in accordance with national approach, which is coordinated in partnership with Ukraine's international allies," the message reads.
