Yuzhenergobud will build protective structures at South Ukraine NPP for UAH 595 million
On October 2, subsidiary of the separate subdivision South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant (Mykolaiv Region) of the Energoatom national nuclear energy generating company agreed with Yuzhenergobud PrJSC on the engineering protection of critical elements at the South Ukraine NPP for UAH 595 million.
This is evidenced by the data in the ProZorro state procurement system, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The deadline for the works is until December 25, 2025.
Matviy Yasenitskyi is the ultimate beneficiary of Yuzhenergobud PrJSC.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 25, Energoatom agreed with Zakhidelektromontazh LLC (Lutsk) on the construction of a protective structure of the second level of protection of the "pilot element" at the Rivne nuclear power plant (Varash, Rivne Region) for UAH 509.2 million.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not rule out that russia may attack Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
A massive attack by the russians on August 26 led to the shutdown of four nuclear units.
The South Ukraine NPP has 3 power units of the VVER-1000 type with a total installed electric capacity of about 3 GW.
