Zelenskyy will discuss with Biden permission to strike deep into RF during meeting in USA this week
This week, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to discuss with US President Joseph Biden the permission to strike with American weapons deep into the territory of the aggressor state of russia.
He said this in an interview with ABC News.
Thus, during the interview, Zelenskyy repeated his call to the United States to lift the restrictions on long-range missiles that they provided to Ukraine, for striking targets deep in russia.
Ukraine's President said he would raise the issue again with Biden this week, saying it would allow Ukraine to strike russian airbases used to launch hundreds of bombs in eastern Ukraine. He said he believed other allies such as France, Britain, Italy and Germany would allow it, but the US should lead the decision-making process.
"But the main role belongs to the United States, to US President Biden. Everyone is looking at him, and we need it to protect ourselves," he said.
Meanwhile, russian dictator vladimir putin said the use of Western weapons to strike targets in russia would mean NATO countries were at war with russia, and promised a corresponding response.
We will remind you that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy went to the United States to present the Victory Plan of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy intends to present the plan for the victory of Ukraine to Biden on September 26. It will also be seen by candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
