President Zelenskyy says Ukraine used Palianytsia drone missile against russia for first time

On August 24, the Ukrainian military struck the russian army for the first time with a new weapon - the Palianytsia drone missile.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during the celebrations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.

"This is our new method of retaliating against the aggressor. The enemy was hit. I thank everyone who ensured this. All the developers, manufacturers and our soldiers. I am proud of you. It will be very difficult for russia, it will be difficult to even pronounce what exactly flew in. It is difficult to counter, but very easy to understand why," the Head of State emphasized.

According to President Zelenskyy, this is a weapon of an "absolutely new class".
