Volume Of Trading On Perspektiva Stock Exchange Down 79% To UAH 0.5 Billion In June

In June, 1,500 transactions worth UAH 0.53 billion were concluded on the Perspektiva stock exchange (-79% compared to May 2022).

The stock exchange said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the beginning of the year, 15,590 transactions have been concluded on the Perspektiva stock exchange in the amount of UAH 46.32 billion (-56% compared to January-June 2021).

In total, 31,900 transactions worth UAH 2.8 billion were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in June (-36% compared to May), since the beginning of the year - 133,500 transactions worth UAH 106.8 billion (-48% compared to January-June 2021).

Given the four-month regulatory ban on concluding agreements with securities (except for war bonds), debt instruments continue to dominate the trading structure on the stock exchanges of Ukraine since the beginning of the year: government bonds - 99.63% (including 96.14% - government domestic loan bonds, 3.47% - government foreign loan bonds), corporate bonds and city loan bonds - 0.33%, shares, securities of joint investment institutions, fixed-term contracts - 0.04%.

The share of the Perspektiva stock exchange in the total exchange turnover in January-June made 43%.

The volume of trading in war bonds on the Perspektiva exchange in June compared to May decreased by 79%, the number of transactions - by 45%.

20.72% of trades were held on the bid market, 79.28% - on the address market, settlements on REPO transactions concluded before February 24, 2022 were also initiated.

The volume of trading on the Perspektiva stock exchange in January-June compared to the same period in 2021 decreased by 56%, the number of transactions increased 2.3 times.

During June, due to regulatory restrictions, contracts on the Perspektiva stock exchange were concluded with only 15 financial instruments (+10 by May, -36 by February), from the beginning of 2022 - with 62 financial instruments (-14 by January-June 2021).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in May, 2,730 transactions worth UAH 2.53 billion were concluded on the Perspektiva stock exchange (-28% compared to April 2022), since the beginning of the year - 14,090 transactions in the amount of UAH 45.79 billion (-46% compared to January-May 2021).
