Cabinet approves allocation of UAH 100 million to Ukrhydroenergo for EW

The Cabinet of Ministers agreed to allocate UAH 100 million to the Ukrhydroenergo energy generating company for means of radio-electronic warfare (EW) for anti-aircraft cover of the company's critical infrastructure facilities.

This is stated in order No. 318 of April 12, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"To agree with the proposal of the Ukrhydroenergo private joint-stock company regarding its provision of charitable assistance by transferring funds to a special account for collecting funds for the support of the Armed Forces, opened in the National Bank, in the amount of UAH 100 million for the purpose of financing radio-electronic warfare equipment for anti-aircraft cover objects of the critical infrastructure of the specified company," the document says.

The Ministry of Economy is tasked with the participation of Ukrhydroenergo to prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a draft decision on making appropriate changes to the financial plan of Ukrhydroenergo for 2024.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during a massive enemy attack on March 22, 8 missiles hit the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant, and the plant was put out of order.
