Russia attacks three Ukrainian TPPs. They got damaged, an employee injured

The army of the aggressor country of the russian federation attacked three thermal power plants (TPPs) in Ukraine overnight into March 29. An energy worker was injured as a result of the blows.

This is reported by DTEK.

The energy company did not say in which regions TPPs were attacked. At the same time, DTEK emphasizes that the equipment was seriously damaged as a result of the attack.

"After the end of the attack, the power engineers promptly started liquidating the consequences," the report says.

According to preliminary information, an energy worker was injured. The employee was promptly provided with the necessary assistance.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the russian invaders have shelled the DTEK’s thermal power plants more than 160 times.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, overnight into Friday, March 22, russia carried out the largest recent attack on Ukraine's energy system.

Meanwhile, on the night of Friday, March 29, russian invaders hit energy facilities again during a massive combined attack. Currently, emergency shutdowns are applied in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, and hourly shutdowns are in place in the Kharkiv Region.
