AFU destroy 2 aircraft and over 1,000 occupiers. General Staff reports russian losses per day
Over the past day, the Ukrainian military eliminated more than a thousand russian invaders, thus the total losses of the enemy army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion amounted to about 412,610 soldiers. In addition, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two enemy aircraft.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 02/28/24 were approximately:
- personnel - about 412,610 (+ 1,060) people eliminated;
- tanks - 6,570 (+ 14) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 12,508 (+ 14) units;
- artillery systems - 1,029 (+ 20) units;
- MLRS - 1,000 units;
- air defense equipment - 688 (+ 2) units;
- aircraft - 342 (+ 2) units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 7,753 (+ 24) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,912 units;
- ships/boats - 25 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 13,112 (+ 47) units;
- special equipment - 1,594 (+ 6) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russia's losses in the war in Ukraine on Tuesday morning, February 27, amounted to 850 occupiers, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 411,550 of the military. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 1 tank, 16 artillery systems and 16 AFVs.
