Russia’s losses exceed 400,000 of military. AFU destroy 1,200 occupiers and 62 armored vehicles per day
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine on the morning of Friday, February 16, amounted to 1,210 invaders, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 400,300 of its military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed 23 tanks and 39 armored fighting vehicles.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 02/16/24 were approximately:
- personnel - about 400,300 (+ 1,210) people eliminated;
- tanks - 6,465 (+ 23) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 12,129 (+ 39) units;
- artillery systems - 9,641 (+ 21) units;
- MLRS - 984 units;
- air defense equipment - 671 units;
- aircraft - 332 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 7,408 (+ 4) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,895 (+ 13) units;
- ships/boats - 25 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 12,716 (+ 25) units;
- special equipment - 1,528 (+ 4) units.
Recall that as of Thursday morning, February 15, russia's losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 950 occupiers per day. In total, since the beginning of the invasion of the russian army, the losses amounted to 399,090 troops. In addition, the AFU were successful, sinking a ship and destroying 47 combat vehicles and 54 artillery systems of the enemy.
