AFU destroy 920 occupiers, 20 tanks and 35 armored vehicles. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
As of Friday morning, January 19, russian losses during the war in Ukraine reached 920 occupiers, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounted to 374,520 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out successful operations, destroying 20 tanks, 19 artillery systems and 35 armored fighting vehicles.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 01/19/23 were approximately:
- personnel - about 374,520 (+ 920) people eliminated;
- tanks - 6,167 (+ 20) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 11,445 (+ 35) units;
- artillery systems - 8,854 (+ 19) units;
- MLRS - 966 units;
- air defense equipment - 654 (+ 1) units;
- aircraft - 331 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6,929 (+ 4) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,818 units;
- ships/boats - 23 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 11,831 (+ 37) units;
- special equipment - 1,384 (+ 4) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of Thursday, January 18, russia's losses during the war in Ukraine reached 780 invaders, while the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounted to 367,600 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 41 drones, 21 tanks and 38 armored personnel carriers.
