Russia carried out 465 chemical attacks on Ukraine since beginning of full-scale war

The russian occupiers have carried out 465 chemical attacks on Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

This is stated in the message of the Command of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Defense Forces recorded 465 cases of the russian federation using ammunition equipped with poisonous chemical substances. Of these, 81 cases occurred only in December of this year," it says.

At the same time, the dynamics of using is increasing. So, in just one day on December 19, the aggressor country of russia carried out 8 attacks using chemical substances.

Most often, the enemy uses grenades, such as K-51, RGR and Drofa-PM hand gas grenades, which are dropped from UAVs. However, improvised explosive devices equipped with irritant substances are also used. Artillery shelling with the content of chemically dangerous substances are also carried out.

It is noted that on December 14, 2023, the use of a new type of special RG-VO gas grenades containing an unknown chemical substance was recorded.
