Russia’s losses at front decreased sharply. 350 invaders, 2 tanks and 1 artillery system destroyed during day
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) eliminated another 350 russian invaders, thus the losses of the russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have already amounted to about 282,630 soldiers. Also, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles and 1 anti-aircraft system of the enemy.
This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to October 09, 2023 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 282,630 (+350) persons were eliminated;
- tanks - 4,823 (+2) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 9,126 (+3) units;
- artillery systems - 6,706 (+1) units;
- MLRS - 808 units;
- air defense systems - 543 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 315 units;
- helicopters - 316 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 5,190 units;
- cruise missiles - 1,530 units;
- ships/boats - 20 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 9,113 (+2) units;
- special equipment - 959 units.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, the South Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the russians started using new tactics of shelling Ukraine.
