Fragments of russian missile pierced the roof of Auchan in Kyiv

In Kyiv, fragments of a russian missile fell on the roof of the Auchan shopping center on Zdolbunivska Street.

This follows from a statement by the acting head of the Darnytskyi District State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, posted on Facebook.

"Today, the enemy carried out another treacherous night attack on the capital. Thanks to the reliable work of our air defense forces, enemy targets were destroyed. Debris in the Darnytskyi District hit the building of the Auchan shopping center on Zdolbunivska Street," he wrote.

The fire brigade eliminated the consequences of the fire. "The injured persons are missing. The roof has been destroyed, the missile remains are in the interior, the investigative team is working," the official added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian federation attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones. Air defense shot down 20 targets; there were casualties.

Overnight into Monday, August 28, the russian army struck the Poltava Region, hitting an industrial facility.

Also, on the morning of August 28, the russian occupying forces hit Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk Region with missiles, using tactical aviation. As a result of the attack, the country houses were destroyed and damaged, and the farm building was occupied.
