AFU destroy 580 occupiers, 12 tanks and 18 drones. General Staff reports enemy losses per day
The losses of Russia in the war in Ukraine on Friday morning, August 11, amounted to 580 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 252,780 of the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed 12 tanks, 15 AFVs and artillery systems.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 11, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 252,780 (+ 580) people eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 4,290 (+ 12) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 8,318 (+ 15) units,
- artillery systems - 5,043 (+ 15) units,
- MLRS - 713 (+ 2) units,
- air defense means - 471 (+ 2) units,
- aircraft - 315 units,
- helicopters - 313 units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 4,197 (+ 18),
- cruise missiles - 1,377 units,
- ships/boats - 18 units,
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 7,511 (+ 16) units,
- special equipment - 756 (+ 10).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, special forces of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are conducting successful operations in the occupied left bank of the Kherson Region. In particular, scouts destroyed a missile unit of the Russians.
Earlier, the British Ministry of Defense said that the Russian occupiers lost half of those soldiers of the landing troops who were sent to Ukraine in 2022. This is at least 15,000 soldiers.
