AFU eliminate 620 occupiers, 35 drones, 21 AFVs and 26 artillery systems. General Staff reports enemy losses per day
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine on Thursday morning, August 3, amounted to 620 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 247,850 in the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed 35 drones, 21 armored fighting vehicles and 26 artillery systems.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 3, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 247,850 (+ 620) persons eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 4,224 (+ 7) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 8,234 (+ 21) units,
- artillery systems - 4,892 (+ 26) units,
- MLRS - 704 (+ 4) units,
- air defense equipment - 465 (+ 2) units,
- aircraft - 315 units,
- helicopters - 311 units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 4,077 (+ 35),
- cruise missiles - 1,347 units,
- ships/boats - 18 units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 7,372 (+ 23) units,
- special equipment - 721 (+ 3).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor state Russia plans to replenish its army by 500,000 people due to losses in the war against Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the state aggressor Russia forcibly mobilized 60,000 men in the occupied territories.
And the losses of Russia in the war in Ukraine on the morning of Wednesday, August 2, amounted to 540 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion was 247,230 of the military.
