Minus 600 invaders and 20 artillery systems. General Staff names Russia’s losses for the day

The Ukrainian military destroyed another 600 Russian occupiers last day. In total, Russia has lost 234,040 personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to July 08, 2023 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 234,040 (+600) persons were eliminated;
• tanks - 4,078 (+4) units;
• armored fighting vehicles - 7,964 (+11) units;
• artillery systems - 4,366 (+20) units;
• MLRS - 668 (+7) units;
• air defense equipment - 413 (+3) units;
• aircraft - 315 (+0) units;
• helicopters - 309 (+0) units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 3,685 (+19) units;
• cruise missiles - 1,271 (+0) units;
• ships/boats - 18 (+0) units;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 6,929 (+15) units;
• special equipment - 628 (+8) units;

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the occupiers are concentrating their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka directions - over 30 combat clashes took place during the day.

The Russian military is also preparing for possible hostilities on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. The occupiers are building additional defense structures.
