AFU destroy 650 occupiers, 19 armored vehicles and helicopter again. General Staff announces enemy losses per day
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine have already exceeded 222,000 soldiers. Over the past 24 hours, our defenders have destroyed 650 more occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Total enemy combat losses as of June 22, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel - about 222,650 (+ 650) people eliminated;
- tanks - 4,013 (+ 7) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,783 (+ 12) units;
- artillery systems - 3,941 (+ 21) units;
- MLRS - 617 (+ 2) units;
- air defense equipment - 376 (+ 1) units;
- aircraft - 314 units;
- helicopters - 307 (+ 1) units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 3,438 (+ 10) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,214 units;
- ships/boats - 18 units;
- vehicles and tank trucks - 6,678 (+ 11) units;
- special equipment - 539.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Russian occupation troops are now suffering the largest losses since the peak of the battle for Bakhmut in March.
In the Tauride direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than four companies of Russians and 77 pieces of equipment. Over a day in the Tauride direction, units of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces completed 1,829 firing missions. In addition, 12 Russian ammunition storage facilities were destroyed.
