AFU Eliminate 720 Occupiers, 20 Artillery Systems And Su-35 Fighter. General Staff Announces Russian Losses Per Day
As of the morning of Monday, May 22, the Ukrainian military eliminated 720 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 203,880 military. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed an aircraft and 20 artillery systems.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 22, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 203,880 (+ 720) persons eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 3,785 (+ 2) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,407 (+ 9) units,
- artillery systems - 3,278 (+ 20) units,
- MLRS - 565 (+ 1) units,
- air defense systems - 327 (+ 0) units,
- aircraft - 309 (+ 1) units,
- helicopters - 294 (+ 0) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 2,830 (+ 8),
- cruise missiles - 1,011 (+ 0),
- ships/boats - 18 (+ 0) units,
- vehicles and tank trucks - 6,129 (+ 14) units,
- special equipment - 427 (+ 2)
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 13, four aircraft of the Russian occupation army crashed in the Bryansk Region within a few hours: two Мі-8 helicopters, a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35 fighter.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a Russian Su-35 aircraft on the evening of May 21. It is a fourth generation Russian multirole fighter.
