NBU's Net International Reserves In February Down 3.9% to USD 18.9 Billion

Net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine in February decreased by 3.9% month over month to USD 18.902 billion.

This follows from a statement by the NBU, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the beginning of the year, they have increased by 3.2% from USD 18.322 billion.

Official reserve assets of the NBU in February fell by 3.6% to USD 28.864 billion, and since the beginning of the year they grew by 1.3% from USD 28.494 billion.

At the same time, gross reserve liabilities in February decreased by 2.9% to USD 9.961 billion, and since the beginning of the year they decreased by 2.1% from USD 10.173 billion.

As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, for 2022, net reserves declined by 11.8% from USD 20.767 billion.

In 2021, the NBU's net international reserves increased by 14.6% from USD 18.144 billion year over year to USD 20.765 billion.

In 2020, net reserves increased by 14.5% from USD 15.785 billion.
