Largest Caravan Of Ships With Ukrainian Agricultural Products Left Seaports

On September 4, the largest caravan of ships with Ukrainian agricultural products left the seaports.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"13 vessels departed from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Yuzhny - this is the largest caravan of vessels since the beginning of the implementation of the "grain initiative". In particular, 6 vessels departed from the port of Yuzhny, 5 from Chornomorsk, and from Odesa - 2. A total of 282,500 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products are on board of 13 ships, which are headed to 8 countries of the world," the message says.

According to the message, during the implementation of the initiative on the safe transportation of agricultural products, 86 ships with 2 million tons of agricultural products have already left Ukrainian ports for 19 countries around the world.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine, taking into account average prices on the world food market, expects to receive at least USD 20 billion from this year's grain exports.

On August 5, the first caravan with Ukrainian grain left the sea ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk.
