AFU Destroyed 450 Invaders, Helicopter And 23 Tanks. General Staff Names Russian Losses Over Past Day

On August 31, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 450 to 48,350 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 1 helicopter, 23 tanks and 24 artillery systems over past day.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the day, the enemy lost 1 helicopter (total - 205), 23 tanks (total - 1,997), 33 armored combat vehicles (total - 4,345), 24 artillery systems (total - 1,115), 2 units of rocket artillery (total - 287), 1 air defense vehicle (total - 153), 3 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total - 3,239), 1 unit of special equipment (total - 104) and 2 drones (total - 851).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 234 aircraft, 196 cruise missiles and 15 ships/boats.

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk and Kurakhivske directions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, the losses of the occupiers' troops amounted to 47,900 occupiers, of which 350 - in the day of August 30.

Meanwhile, the Russians are preparing for a Ukrainian counteroffensive, transferring heavy equipment and strengthening the group.
