16 Tanks, 2 Planes, 200 Dead Occupiers - General Staff

The loss of personnel of the Russian troops on April 28 increased by 200 to 23,000 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 16 tanks and 2 aircraft over the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The enemy lost 2 aircraft (total - 189), 16 tanks (total - 986), 29 armored combat vehicles (total – 2,418), 4 artillery systems (total - 435), 1 means of air defense (total - 74), 7 vehicles (total - 1,695), and 14 UAVs (total - 229).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 155 helicopters, 151 rocket artillery units, 31 special equipment units, 8 ships / boats, 4 launchers, 76 tanks with fuel and lubricants.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, the General Staff reported that the military leadership of Russia was trying to replenish the loss of officers at the expense of officers of higher military educational institutions.

Meanwhile, the Russian military is moving away from Mariupol and moving towards Zaporizhzhia region, a U.S. Department of Defense spokesman said at a briefing.
