Kyiv City Council Renames Petrivka Subway Station Into Pochayna

The Kyiv City Council renamed the Petrivka subway station into Pochayna.

70 members of the council voted for the adoption of the relevant draft decision with minimum required 61, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Also, the members of the council renamed the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiiska subway line into Obolonsko-Teremkivska.

At a meeting on Thursday, the members of the council excluded the issue of renaming the Kyiv international airport into the Ihor Sikorskyi airport from the agenda of the city council meeting.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv City Council will hold a meeting on February 8.
