Resolution Renaming Vatutina Avenue In Kyiv Into Shukhevycha Avenue Takes Effect

The resolution of the Kyiv city council to rename General Vatutin Avenue into Roman Shukhevych Avenue has taken effect.

Volodymyr Prokopiv, the secretary of the Kyiv city council, told this to Ukrainian News Agency.

He says the resolution of the Kyiv city council has been published officially and has taken effect.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 1, 2017, the Kyiv City Council decided to rename Henerala Mykolaya Vatutina Avenue into Romana Shukhevycha Avenue.

On June 13, 2017, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv suspended the process of renaming Vatutina Avenue in Kyiv into Romana Shukhevycha Avenue.
