Court Suspends Hearing Yanukovych Case For May 18

The Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv has suspended consideration of the high treason case against former president Viktor Yanukovych for 10 a.m. May 18.

Judge Vladyslav Deviatko has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The suspension is linked to the decision of the court to allow Yanukovych to take part in a videoconference-preparatory hearing of the case.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Thursday, the court started preparatory hearing of the case.
