Serhii "Flash" explains why he didn't attend arms exhibition near Kyiv
Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, a special advisor to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the development of defense technology, stated that he had not planned to attend nor did he attend the arms exhibition in the Kyiv Region, which was struck by a missile attack from russia, the aggressor country. He made this statement on his Telegram channel on Friday, July 24.
Beskrestnov emphasized that he had not planned to attend the arms exhibition due to the high risks involved. According to him, he wrote a message assuring his friends that he was fine because they know he often attends such events.
Beskrestnov listed the risks that prevent him from attending such exhibitions:
- lack of cover;
- public announcements online;
- a huge number of participants;
- ballistic range;
- early announcement of the venue.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 24, russian occupation forces launched ballistic missile strikes on a military training ground in the Kyiv Region, where an arms exhibition was taking place at the time.
Ten people were killed and about 100 others were injured as a result of the missile strike by the aggressor country, russia, on the Kyiv Region.
