Single contribution revenues increased by 18% to UAH 371 billion in H1
In January-June 2026, the single contribution revenues for mandatory state social insurance amounted to UAH 370.7 billion, which is UAH 56.1 billion, or 17.8% more than in the same period in 2025, when UAH 314.6 billion were paid.
This is stated in the message of the Tax Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The main indicators of the single contribution:
- UAH 1,902.34 per month (UAH 8,647 minimum insurance contribution × 22%);
- maximum insurance contribution – UAH 38,046.80: 22% of 20 minimum wages (UAH 172,940).
The single contribution is the main source of replenishment of social insurance funds. These funds are used to finance pension payments, temporary disability benefits, insurance payments in the event of accidents at work, as well as other social guarantees defined by law.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the following individuals are exempt from paying the social security contribution for themselves: entrepreneurs, individuals engaged in independent professional activities, and members of farms, if they have the status of a person with a disability and receive a pension or state social assistance.
