Fuel problems hit russian air defense in Crimea and Kherson Region - Atesh
Agents of the Atesh partisan movement from the units of the armed forces of the aggressor country of the russian federation in Crimea and the occupied Kherson Region report a serious fuel shortage.
The Atesh partisans announced this on their Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the partisans, the command has imposed strict restrictions on refueling mobile fire groups and air defense, which are supposed to cover positions from drones.
"Fuel is given out by the teaspoon. You can start the car only if it is a combat mission. The rest of the time the equipment is stationary. If you run out of fuel on the road, you just throw it and run to the nearest trench or to the village to wait for the drones," said one of the agents in the air defense unit operating in the Chongar district.
According to agents, this situation has been recorded in several units: in Crimea - the 1096th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the 22nd army corps and mobile fire groups on the R-280 highway near Chongar, and in the Kherson Region - air defense and UAV units of the 49th combined-arms army
It is noted that Atesh agents recorded what this looks like in practice: crews leave with an almost empty tank, and if fuel runs out on the route, the military simply abandon the car and walk. Such cases have been recorded on the rear highway between Henichesk and Skadovsk. Abandoned equipment stands in open terrain until a Ukrainian drone finds it.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to media reports, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the price of gasoline has risen to RUB 380 per liter. In April, it was sold for less than RUB 80.
