Russian drone strikes high-rise residential building in Kyiv, damaging 16th floor

A russian drone struck a 25-story residential building in the Desnianskyi District of Kyiv. The capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reported this on his Telegram channel.

All of the city’s rescue and emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident.

According to preliminary information, the enemy drone strike was recorded on the left bank of the capital. It is currently known that the destruction and damage to the residential building occurred on the 16th floor. During the search and rescue operation, rescuers evacuated an injured child and handed the child over to medical personnel.

Information regarding the extent of the damage, the occurrence of a fire, and possible casualties among the high-rise’s residents is currently being verified.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian terrorist forces attacked Kyiv with drones, killing one person and injuring six others.

A missile strike on Kyiv on the night of July 8 resulted in one fatality and several fires in various districts of the capital. Russian forces attacked the city with ballistic missiles.
