Power substations catch fire in occupied Crimea following nighttime attack: what is known?

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, fires were reported at several power substations following nighttime explosions. It was reported by local Telegram channels and the “Crimean Wind” public group, which released satellite imagery.

According to the page, thermal signals were detected at the 110/35/10 kV “Bilohirsk” power substation around 2:00 a.m.

It is noted that this substation supplies electricity to the city of Bilohirsk, nearby settlements, and a number of large industrial facilities, including a greenhouse complex.

Throughout the night of July 3, local Telegram channels also reported a series of explosions in various areas of the occupied peninsula.

Later, “Crimean Wind” reported that the “Marianivka” power substation in the Krasnohvardiiskyi District had been struck again.

As of the time of publication, there has been no official confirmation of this information from either the occupying authorities or the Ukrainian military.

As a reminder, on the night of June 24–25, Ukrainian drones attacked occupied Crimea. According to online reports, the Tavriya and Balaklava thermal power plants were targeted.
