On Monday, June 29, a panel of judges at the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion filed by the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and imposed a preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest on Member of Parliament Serhii Kuzminykh. The bail previously posted in the amount of 49,620 UAH was forfeited to the state.

It was reported by the court, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

Kuzminykh has been subject to the following procedural obligations: to appear whenever summoned to court; to notify the prosecutor or the court of any change in his place of residence or employment; to surrender his passports for travel abroad and other documents granting the right to leave and enter Ukraine to the relevant state authorities for safekeeping; and to wear an electronic ankle monitor.

In the event of an air raid alert in Kuzminykh’s city of residence or the emergence of other real threats to life and health, he is permitted to leave his place of residence solely for the purpose of seeking shelter in the nearest civil defense shelter/civil defense shelter for the duration of such a threat. The Member of Parliament is required to return to his place of residence immediately after the all-clear is given or the threat has ceased.
