Ukrainian Railways is launching a new train service between Dnipro and Kharkiv
Starting June 19, Ukrzaliznytsia is launching a new regional train with a direct route between Dnipro and Kharkiv. This was announced by the Ukrzaliznytsia press service.
"We are improving connections between Ukraine’s regional centers and reviving this important route in a new format. From now on, passengers can travel from Dnipro to Kharkiv and back on the new regional train No. 854/853 Dnipro–Kharkiv–Dnipro. A four-hour trip from Dnipro to Kharkiv, a few hours to run your errands, and a return trip on the same day—the advantages are obvious,” the statement reads.
Schedule
Train No. 854 will depart from Dnipro at 08:17 and arrive in Kharkiv at 12:29. The return train No. 853 will depart from Kharkiv on the same day at 15:30, arriving in Dnipro at 19:41.
The route includes the following stops: Synelnykove-2, Pavlohrad-1, Lozova, Zlatopil, Merefa, and Kharkiv.
Train tickets are now available in the UZ app under the “Long-Distance” section.
As a reminder, UZ has scheduled additional trains to the Carpathians and Transcarpathia.
