Russia announces "systematic" strikes on Kyiv and advises foreigners to leave capital
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of russia, the aggressor country, announced the launch of systematic strikes against defense facilities, so-called "decision-making centers," and command posts in Kyiv, and consequently urged foreigners to leave the capital and urged residents of the capital to stay away from military and administrative infrastructure sites. It was reported by the publication "Meduza" on Monday, May 25.
The aggressor once again stated that it is launching “a series of systematic strikes” against Ukrainian defense industry enterprises in Kyiv, specifically targeting facilities involved in the design, production, programming, and preparation for the deployment of drones. Once again, the russian Foreign Ministry mentioned NATO specialists.
"Strikes will be delivered against both decision-making centers and command posts. Since the aforementioned facilities are scattered throughout Kyiv, we are warning foreign citizens, including staff of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations, of the need to leave the city as soon as possible, and residents of the Ukrainian capital—not to approach the military and administrative infrastructure of the Zelenskyy regime," the statement reads.
The statement did not shy away from using terms such as "Kyiv regime," "junta," "Western sponsors," and even international rules that the aggressor supposedly adheres to.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of May 25, more than 20 people injured in the russian attack are being treated in Kyiv hospitals, including two children.
