Ukraine is convening meetings within multilateral frameworks following the massive terrorist attack carried out by the aggressor state, russia, on May 24, said Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. The remarks were posted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs on X.

Sybiha emphasized that the international community must respond strongly and in a coordinated manner to russian terror, as putin is attempting to intimidate Ukraine with strikes on civilian infrastructure.

"I instructed all our missions to international organizations to make full use of the multilateral toolbox in response to last night’s barbaric Russian missile attack on Kyiv. UN, OSCE, Council of Europe, and UNESCO should provide an adequate and strong response to the aggressor, which is attempting to compensate for the lack of military advances on the battlefield with terror against civilians," Sybiha stated.

Ukraine is also initiating an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, as well as a joint meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation and the OSCE Permanent Council. The Foreign Minister emphasized that only decisive multilateral action can deter russia and compel it to a just and lasting peace.
